Q: What is SpeakEasy Lab?
SpeakEasy Lab is a communication training studio in Singapore that helps both adults and young learners build confident, authentic, and effective communication skills. We combine vocal coaching, message crafting, and lots of practice—so you can speak with ease, anywhere.

Q: Who are your trainers?
Our trainers are seasoned professionals in communication, media, and education, including radio hosts, corporate facilitators, and drama educators. Each brings real-world experience and a passion for helping others find their voice.

Q: Where are your classes held?
We’re located at 420 North Bridge Road, #03-33 North Bridge Centre, Singapore 188727. Some courses may also be conducted online or on-site at partner schools or companies.

Kids & Teens Programmes

 

Q: What age groups do you cater to?
We currently offer classes for three age groups:

• 7–9 years old

• 10–12 years old

• 13–16 years old
   

Q: What will my child learn in class?
Your child will learn how to:

• Speak clearly and expressively

• Organise and present ideas

• Build confidence in social and formal settings

• Listen and collaborate with others
   

We teach through storytelling, structured speaking tasks, and fun practice activities.

 

Q: What’s the class size like?
We keep our group classes small—usually 6 to 10 participants—so each child receives personalized attention and feedback.
 

Q: Do you offer trial classes?
Yes! We offer trial sessions so your child can experience the programme and see if it’s a good fit before enrolling.

Q: Are your trainers MOE-certified?

While we are not an MOE-registered school, our trainers go beyond the standard school syllabus—focusing on real-world, practical communication skills that students can use in everyday life, school, and beyond. Many of our instructors have backgrounds in teaching, media, and the arts, and bring with them both formal qualifications and lived experience in effective communication.

Adult Programmes

Q: Who are your adult programmes for?
Our adult courses are designed for working professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, and anyone looking to speak with more clarity, confidence, and impact.

Q: What skills will I develop?
Depending on the course, you may work on:

• Public speaking and presentation skills

• Impromptu speaking

• Voice control and vocal presence

• Structuring your message clearly

• Managing stage fright
   

Q: Can I use SkillsFuture credits?
We are working towards SkillsFuture accreditation. Please drop us a message and we’ll notify you once our courses become eligible.

Q: I’m a complete beginner / really nervous—can I still join?
Absolutely. Many of our learners start off shy or unsure. We create safe, judgment-free environments where you can grow at your own pace—with plenty of encouragement and guided feedback.

Q: Do you offer 1-on-1 coaching?
Yes! Private coaching is available for those preparing for interviews, presentations, or who want customized support. Contact us to learn more.

Q: How do I register?
You can register via our online form or contact us directly if you need help choosing the right class.

 

Q: What if I miss a class?
We understand life happens. We allow for 1 make-up session per term (subject to availability) if you notify us in advance.

Q: Do you offer refunds or transfers?
Withdrawals before the term begins may be eligible for a partial refund. After classes begin, refunds are considered case-by-case. Please refer to our full Refund Policy for details.

Q: Do you offer corporate or school partnerships?
Yes! We work with schools, community groups, and companies to provide workshops and customised training. Drop us a line if you’d like to collaborate.
